About
The Isolated Studio
Written by David Lee Eubank
Is a blog about the rambling thoughts of a working Artist in his studio
Isolation
Most Artists regardless of where they live, truly work in isolation. Alone in their studios. At least most of the time, I think. Perhaps individual creativity requires isolation until our ideas are ready to share.
In the process I hope we can find something to share between us? Perhaps we can inspire each other to reach out of our isolated studio
Balancing the Chaos
Living and working in Montana has many challenges and rewards for me as a visual artist. The natural quiet beauty of Montana is unmatched by any attempt to reproduce the majestic and scenic beauty by any tool an artist like myself might use. For me life changes my art continuously.
Balancing the chaotic impact of the modern world with the solitude of the natural environment is the driving force behind my work as an artist. The rapid pace of life at cyber speeds has taken me to so many places along my personal road. I cherish time to stop and experience the natural environment, to think and experience a moment in solitude.Technology has changed the way I approach life and art. The natural environment gives me a place to reflect on the impact of a chaotic world on my life.
The natural environment gives back to us our nature as human beings.
